Wonderful Indonesia: culture and tourism

Besides the issue of economic and political cooperation between Russia and Indonesia, the Forum will also include discussion about one of the main areas of Indonesia‘s economy - tourism. Representatives of the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, leading tour operators, media representatives of Asian countries and many others will tell their Russian colleagues about the features of tourism in Indonesia.

Indonesia — a country which is dedicated to a special session at the Forum. The main theme «Doing business in Indonesia» will include the tourism sector. This sphere is closely linked with the history, geography and culture of the country. To understand how the relationship between Russia and Indonesia can develop in this direction, the Forum plans to organize a special panel discussion featuring speakers from Indonesia.

Indonesia tourism benefits are warm climate, unique architecture, a lot of greenery, and most importantly, hospitable people. Tourism in Indonesia is not like the rest in other countries. Here tourists can see not only the beaches, but also covering the tops of the mountains, eternal snows. Jungles and tropical gardens, extinct volcanoes, caves, shrines, rice fields, mountain rivers – all of this describes Indonesia. Such a rich country, certainly attracts tourists from all over the world, so this area is one of the Indonesia‘s most developed.

One of the features of Indonesia is its huge number of islands in the archipelago. Researchers count more than 17.500 islands. The most popular, beautiful and famous Indonesian island is Bali. Vacationing in Bali can be in any season. Island is often called the "Island of the Gods", or "Island of a thousand temples", as it lies between the islands of Java and Lombok, in the heart of the archipelago, forming the Republic of Indonesia. The island attracts a lot of lovers of surfing and diving.
