Where to go for education: a view to the East.

Today‘s economic growth in Asian countries affects a sphere of education. Russian and European learning differs from the education provided by the Asian countries. Unlike in Europe, Japan or, for example, Indonesian universities provide a lot of opportunities for foreign students.

China

The land of the rising sun has universities with good financing. Government of the republic is actively funding higher education system. Most students like to study the following areas: architecture, business and economics, management, medicine. And if you know well the Chinese language and would like to teach it as a foreign language, you will be paid a good scholarship. Entering  a Chinese university is not so difficult: the applicant must have a certificate of HSK (The Chinese Proficiency Test) for programs in Chinese, but there are English programs too.
 

Japan
 

In this country, the most popular areas of learning are IT-technology, economy, culture and art. Entering a Japanese university is also relatively simple: the procedure for obtaining a visa facilitated education, grants are paid, provided accommodation (although this depends on the university), from entrant only requires a certificate of proficiency in Japanese. However, studying in Japanese high schools id harder, compared with the Russian system of education.
 

South Korea
 

The country is one of the world‘s leaders in the number of students in the population. Young people choose a specialty related to computer science, industrial design, computer games and multimedia. Thanks to the South Korean government there are scholarship program for foreign students –  Global Korea Scholarship (GKS). Entering the university requires an exam on the Korean language - Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIC).
 

Indonesia
 

Country, which has a special session at Forum rASIA.com, is not the leader of the educational sphere, but still attracts foreign students. Applicants come here to get training in language schools, special programs for the study of arts, crafts, culinary traditions and folk medicine. 750 foreign students have chance to enter university for free ( with the help of Indonesian Ministry of Education), but it is possible for each applicant who knows the language.
