ARB Merged Supervisory Board of the First Russian-Asian rASiA.com Forum
On Monday, 2th of April, the press conference was held in the Federation Council announcing the First Russian-Asian Forum – rASiA.com which is going to become one of the largest business and culture events of international importance held in Moscow. The Forum Supervisory Board was joined by state institutions and largest public and business organizations such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Federation Council, Association of Russian Banks, Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Moscow government.
“Execution of such large-scale event in Moscow is highly important and popular among world business community, especially among bank sector representatives. Not only Asian Banks showed big interest in the Forum but also our partners from Italy, Switzerland, Germany – all those who has an interests in business development in Russia and Asian countries. Nowadays we see that Moscow develops into powerful financial hub, full-scale financial center for the world financial, banking and business community”, - the vice-president of ARB and Alfa-bank Galina Fomina commented.
As a possible Festival participation format the Association of Russian Banks is planning to carry out international round-table, where representatives of the international bank community will be able to discuss the effectiveness of current business processes in banking system, specific features of pacing technologies in Russia and abroad, particularly in banking sector.
“The reasonable bank innovation development strategy is not a reckless usage of something super new, but rather base for best time-tested domestic and foreign practices. The Forum will give an opportunity to look at oneself from the outside, from the point of view of the world financial community. The core problem of new innovative payment technologies implementation is in difficulty to coordinate and integrate efforts of all payment network members: bank, telecmoperator, payment provider and others. An ARB and Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs with the support of the Bank of Russia initiated foundation of the non-commercial partnership “National Payments Council”. It is a real step forward on efforts and interests coordination of payment market players towards innovative technologies promotion in Russia. And we are interested in such experience exchange with colleagues from Asian countries” - said ARB executive director Timur Aitov.
